Our mission is to be at the forefront of learning, creativity and practice in our specialist subjects. Comprising more than 24,000 students from over 100 countries, we offer a range of academic programmes from further education through to undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees. Professional diplomas, certificates and short courses are available in a wide variety of subjects.

Our teaching and research have been judged as 'excellent' by independent and rigorous peer review. We were recently rated by the 'Sunday Times University Guide' as the UK's 'Best Higher Education College' and were twice shortlisted as 'University of the Year'.

The achievements of our students, staff and alumni are the true testament to our success. They regularly receive honours and awards such as the Saatchi Scholarship, the Sunday Times Award, the Jerwood Prize, the Fujifilm Award, British Fashion Designer of the Year, the Turner Prize and the Prince Philip Designers Prize. Our alumni are prominent in their fields and many have international reputations. Often provocative, their work promotes fresh perspectives and new modes of practice.

At University of the Arts London we promote talent, creativity and intellectual excellence in an organisational culture which helps talented staff and students to develop and commercially advance their abilities and ideas. We work to provide a bridge between higher education and professional practice and to serve the creative industries.

Situated on multiple sites across London, our students and staff benefit from and contribute to the enormous range of stimuli provided by what is widely considered to be the creative capital of the world. Our impact and engagement extends to the global stage through our international student body, our 200,000 alumni, and affiliations and partnerships with organisations that share our passion for the arts.
